Design requirements (20 Marks)
Numbered list of product requirements:
- Most important first, least important last
- Selection of requirements is more important than length or quantity of list
- Must be precise, specific, technical, numerical
Only provide one list.
The list should provide a snapshot of the product innovation/value.
Do
NOT include:
- Explanations of requirements
- Marketing information or sales pitch
Design highlights (30 Marks)
Explain, illustrate and demonstrate a few highlights from the design requirements and design specifications. Choose concepts, features, methods or specifications that make your product original and exciting.
Use the prototype demonstration to organize and guide your design highlights.
Demonstration of prototypes (50 Marks)
The actual delivery on the presentation day is limited to 15 minutes. There is
no need to upload any files or write anything for this part. This part is marked on the presentation day for:
- Quality of prototypes
- Innovation and creativity
- Team organization and cooperation
Upload the complete presentation document that will be used on the day of the presentation. Acceptable file formats include Microsoft PowerPoint, Open Office Impress or Adobe Acrobat.
The presentation document must include a reference list of resources (text and multimedia):
- Must use Harvard APA format
- The list must be alphabetical by author
